Made in Germany: All SECOTEC refrigeration dryers are built in accordance with the very highest quality standards at KAESER’s plant in Gera. SECOTEC-series refrigeration dryers are a highly attractive choice with their highly durable, low-maintenance design. Their high-quality refrigerant circuit enables reliable performance in ambient temperatures up to +43 °C – with low material-load thanks to the high-performance thermal mass. The generously-dimensioned stainless steel condenser and ECO-DRAIN condensate drain (TA 8 and up) provide reliable condensate removal in all load phases, enabling a stable pressure dew point. The electrical equipment corresponds to Standard EN 60204-1. SECOTEC refrigeration dryers are extremely low-maintenance. Yet on rare occasions when service is needed, their enclosure design enables easy access to all service-relevant components, including the condenser, which is very easy to clean. All of these advantages effectively reduce servicing/testing requirement and therefore costs. 1.Efficient refrigerant compressor The scroll refrigerant compressors used in SECOTEC dryers are up to 26% more effi cient than reciprocating compressors. They therefore play an important role in ensuring the outstanding effi ciency of KAESER’s new refrigeration dryers. 2.Efficient SECOTEC solid thermal mass At the heart of every SECOTEC refrigeration dryer is a thermal mass with exceptionally high capacity. Moreover in the TA to TD series, the entire air-refrigerant heat exchanger is embedded in a storage medium and encased by efficient heat protection. 3.Minimal differential pressure SECOTEC-series refrigeration dryers feature very low differential pressure. This is made possible thanks to the generously dimensioned flow cross-sections within the heat exchanger and compressed air lines. 4.Signifi cant energy savings The SIGMA CONTROL SMART controller calculates load hours and the current actual electrical power consumption of the SECOTEC dryer. The filter inlet is offset towards the air inlet, which in turn increases the flow cross-section at the air discharge side and further contributes to outstanding filter efficiency with minimal pressure loss. 2.Minimised pressure losses Generously-dimensioned connection flanges on KAESER FILTER products help keep pressure losses to an absolute minimum. Since KAESER FILTER products are available with air connection flanges of various sizes, there is no need for reducer sections when connecting to different air distribution networks. 3.Low flow resistance The advanced polyester material of the filter drainage layer ensures rapid and efficient oil drainage (left). Condensate is an unavoidable result of air compression. If not reliably drained off at all collection points, it can cause costly downtime and damage to the compressed air system through corrosion. Electronic ECO-DRAIN level-sensing condensate drains from KAESER KOMPRESSOREN are therefore the perfect choice to perform this important task. ECO-DRAIN condensate drains ensure safe, dep- endable condensate drainage without air loss, even under conditions with widely fluctuating accumulation and high particle / oil content. Quality, dependability and safe operation are essential features of any industrial machinery or equipment. The ECO-DRAIN meets all of these requirements. Versions are available to suit even the most hostile operating conditions, for example: highly aggressive condensate, freezing temperatures, high pressure or vacuum. No matter what the application, KAESER KOMPRESSOREN has the right ECODRAIN to suit any need. 1.“Click” and go Maintenance on the ECO-DRAIN 30, 31 and 32 is quick and easy. A simple “click” is all that’s needed to detach the service unit from the electronics module. Complicated disassembly is therefore no longer necessary. Every service unit is carefully checked for leak tightness and performance. 2.Intelligent electronic controls The control electronics operate the discharge valve with such precision that all collected condensate is discharged without any loss of compressed air. This not only maximises compressed air use but also leads to considerable energy savings. All electrical components are splash-proof. 3.Self-monitoring Should an issue with condensate drainage occur, the ECO-DRAIN valve is briefly cycled to open for one minute. If the situation remains, a message is triggered and the valve opens every 4 minutes for 7.5 seconds. Once the blockage is cleared, the ECODRAIN reverts back to normal operation. 4.Durable level sensor The durable and non-wearing capacitive level sensor forms the basis for safe, reliable condensate drainage.
